Exclusive Gay Piano Bar

From Broadway to Colorado Springs, together they opened ICONS, an exclusive gay piano bar here in our growing city. We were honored to capture their new space and their engagement in this bright, colorful, fog-filled shoot.

We were challenged to capture the warm, inviting, atmospheric feeling the space exudes when the bar is packed and the music is lively.

To give the photos a matte texture we filled it with richly colored and projected light and a special mixture of fog and gently moving air.

The results are a wildly playful, deeply tonal, and magically mysterious suite of celebratory photographs that tell a compelling story.
